Up to now you pay nothing and there is no commitment
Meet with local Estate Agents and view as many properties as you wish from an agreed selection. We can arrange for English staff to accompany you to help with translation. During your visit you may wish to change your specifications - no problem! Visit as many as you want. This stage can be as long or repeated as many times as needed. The idea is for you to find the property of YOUR dreams
Divide your visit time between property hunting and discovering Sardinia
Meet with Sardinian "geometra," financial consultants & builders etc., if necessary
Make your choice and put in an offer. Negotiate until an acceptable deal is agreed
Up to now you have only paid for travel, accommodation, food, car hire etc. and a £100 deposit. Little more than a short holiday break, and you have begun to discover Sardinia.
Once an offer has been made and accepted you will then need to pay a deposit to reserve the property and start the legal buying process. (Please refer to the page giving details of the Legal processes involved in buying an Italian property)
Then:
- "Prenotazione" stage
Refundable deposit of about 10%
- "Compromesso" stage
Non-refundable deposit of about 20%
- "Rogito" stage
Full & final payment
